    During the 2023 Toronto Mayoral By-Election, I was the Director of Field Operations for Ana Bailão's mayoralty campaign. In this unprecedented by-election to lead a city of 2.8 million people, we rapidly built a field organization that recruited hundreds of volunteers to knock on doors, make phone calls, distribute literature, organize events and outreach to different communities. Our direct efforts resulted in us reaching over 750,000 households at their doorstep and making more than one…

    During the 2023 Toronto Mayoral By-Election, I was the Director of Field Operations for Ana Bailão's mayoralty campaign. In this unprecedented by-election to lead a city of 2.8 million people, we rapidly built a field organization that recruited hundreds of volunteers to knock on doors, make phone calls, distribute literature, organize events and outreach to different communities. Our direct efforts resulted in us reaching over 750,000 households at their doorstep and making more than one million direct contacts with voters. We came in second place, less than 5% behind the winner who had been in public life for almost 40 years and started the campaign with a much greater profile.

After a year long campaign, we came in second place and advanced important issues in the public discourse.
